CUENTO DE UN DIA is an adaptation of En novelle i tre dele (2012). A second prepared guitar substitutes the part of the percussionist, allowing for a closer dialog between the two prepared instruments. Its title can be translated into Story of a day, and the names of each movement into The birds, meadow & sunset. The piece is inspired by bird sounds, and even though it does not have a specific narrative attached to it, my intention was to evoke the feeling of a short story where the plot is expressed by these three images or soundscapes of nature.
